Hilario Ped's song book includes transcribed music and lyrics for many of the songs. Songs in the book include: "My Dear," "With Plenty of Money and You: Fox Trot" (1935), "On a Coconut Island" (1936), "Alexander's Ragtime Band, Fox-Trot" (1911,1936), "Sweetheart Let's Grow Old Together" (1936), "Its D'Lovely" (1936), "Trust in Me" (1937), and "You Do the Darn'dest Things, Baby" (1937), "Good Night My Love" (1936), "Boo Hoo" (1937), "The Sweetheart Waltz," "Harbor Lights" (1937), "Dancing Under the Stars" (1937), "That Old Feeling" (1937), "On a Little Bamboo Bridge" (1937), "Cross Patch" (1937), "Stardust on the Moon" (1937), "I'm Feelin' Like a Million" (1937), "Afraid to Dream" (1937), "The Moon Got in My Eyes" (1937), "When the Poppies Bloom Again" (1937), "Whispers in the Dark" (1937), "You Can't Stop Me From Dreaming" (c. 1937), "Please Pardon Us, We're In Love" (1937), "The Love Bug Will Bite You" (1930s), "Too Beautiful for Words" (1934), "So Do I" (1930s?), and "So Rare" (1930s?). Ped used to play with a band, performing in the area including Guadalupe, California at a club and at Paulding Gym. As Nina Borja, his daughter, describes, their house was always filled with music.
